Madison's Best Weekly Party Pace social ride! come for the smiles and the miles! 10-12 Mph pace, leaving promptly at 6pm(ish) from Orton Park. Mad Town Mondays will generally be one of two routes, an 18 mile loop out to McFarland , across the boardwalk at Lake Waubesa, and back downtown, or a shorter 12 mile Lake Monona Loop when weather or daylight dictates. During warmer and longer daylight months, there will typically be one longer ride of 30-40 miles per month. Routes (including Ride With GPS route links) will be published on Social Media several days before the ride date (@Cap.City.Cyclists on Instagram). Social Media is also where ride updates will be posted regarding changed routes and cancellation on short notice.

Most weeks there will be post-ride hangs at one of several local establishments. Post-ride locations may change due to weather or other circumstances, and will be announced at the start of each ride.

This ride is considered self supported, and volunteers will only be on hand to facilitate the smooth movement of the ride.

  • Our ride sometimes ends after sunset especially early and late in the year, please bring front & rear lights

• Be Prepared!

  • Anything can happen, bring tools in case you get a flat or have any other mechanical issue.

• Have fun, be cool, and be supportive of your fellow riders.
